It seems just yesterday that guests announcements were presented and dates were set for the highly anticipated 2017 Lexington Comic and Toy Convention. This has actually been the first year of us being able to get there the day before the party kicks off. In truth though, the dedicated crew of #LCTC17 – as has been officially dubbed  by the convention organizers – have been hard at work getting everything ready for this weekend. And although I only had the briefest of looks behind the curtain; I can already tell you that it is going to be one for the books. Last year, LCTC had crowds upwards of 25,000 people. Yes, that’s right – 25,000 people! I can’t wait to see what the numbers will be this year – maybe double the amount from last year?

When you arrive at the Lexington Convention Center, you will be greeted by plenty of helpful signs (as shown in the photos above) to guide you in the right direction. And as always, should you have any questions feel free to ask any one of the staff members in their iconic yellow t-shirts. There will of course be plenty of people on hand including official venue staff to help as well. A few tips – as always make sure to get their early to not only get prime parking across the street; but to get your passes as well. This includes on site ticket purchases. Also, remember to carry some cash on your person because ATM’s do eventually run out of money and despite the most valiant of efforts to restock them…things do happen.

And as always, have fun and hope to see you all there!!!
