Ladies and gentlemen, we are FINALLY, finally in the home stretch until 5B of Netflix’s devilishly enjoyable show, “Lucifer”, returns. The countdown has reached single digits and what sweet relief it is to be that much closer to seeing whether of not we get the long awaited ILY between a certain Detective and her Devil. Folks, fellow Lucifans – yours truly can not WAIT until 5B drops. Even though we have already seen it here at Stay2uned; we are still just as excited.
Thanks to the newly added feature on Twitter, Space, we have been able to connect to you lovely folks, live. During these sessions, we may have sprinkled a few innocent teases here and there… *shifty eyes*. Speaking of which, some of yall should be actual detectives – the accuracy of some of your theories’ are spot on. I have said it before and I will say it again, I can not wait until 5/28 when the embargo is lifted.
So, when we left off at the end of 5A, Lucifer was just about to tell Chloe how he felt when, time was frozen. No pun intended, but talk about bad bloody timing. And then a battle ensued between the three brothers and Maze…until G-O-D arrived. That’s right, dear old Dad arrived out of the blue and the fighting was over.
So much happens in 5B that, well, I am so happy to have a sixth and final season…you will soon know WHY. Well, thanks to the two trailers released by both Netflix and Amazon Prime Germany, you lot know a good deal of what does happen in the back half of season five. Then again, does Lucifer even become GOD? Can you imagine how awkward that’d be for a certain crime-solving Devil when a certain someone utters, “Oh my God”. #SorryNotSorry.

Even though I am not allowed to say much about 5B, what I can say is that, the musical episode is one of my favorites of the entire season. The awkwardly tense family dinner is up there as well, because, who hasn’t had one of those? Ultimately, if I had to choose my favorite two episodes of 5B, those would be 5×10 -“Bloody Celestial Karaoke Jam” and 5×16 – “A Chance at a Happy Ending”. In fact, the reason why is because…well, you will see in five days! 😈
