Woe Am I – Netflix’s Wednesday Returns In 4 Days

In just four days—though who’s counting?—we’ll dive back into the gloriously grim world of Wednesday. It’s been nearly three years since we first wandered the shadowy halls of Nevermore Academy. The wait for the second season has felt like an eternity of torment worthy of Wednesday Addams herself. With Jenna Ortega reprising her iconic role as the deadpan queen of gloom, season two promises to deliver more mysteries, sharper wit, and a darker dose of Addams Family chaos.

Nevermore Redux: The Episode Lineup:

Wednesday Season 2, Part 1, consisting of four episodes, will premiere on Netflix on August 6, 2025, with Part 2 (episodes 5–8) following on September 3, 2025. The first four episodes are titled as follows, each dripping with the show’s signature “woeful” wordplay:

“Here We Woe Again” – Written by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, directed by Tim Burton 

“The Devil You Woe” – Written by Matt Lambert, directed by Tim Burton 

“Call of the Woe” – Written by Valentina Garza, directed by Angela Robinson 

“If These Woes Could Talk” – Written by Lauren Otero, directed by Angela Robinson


As we count down to August 6th, the excitement for the second season of Wednesday is eerily palpable. Whether you’re a die-hard Addams Family fan or a newcomer drawn in by Nevermore’s allure, this season promises to deliver more of the dark, witty magic we love.
